Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Braylon Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Donkier The Slick! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis doesn't succeed with the takedown and The Slick counters with a shoot takedown. Davis fights it but they end up in guard. The Slick decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Davis, up you get! Davis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A momentary lapse in concentration from Davis enables The Slick to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Davis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Slick connects with a couple of short punches. Davis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The Slick scoring with punches to the head and body. Davis looking to control.
Davis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and The Slick defends well. The Slick controls from within his opponent's guard. The Slick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The Slick wants to pass the guard but Davis is keeping the position. Davis is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. The Slick is aware though and is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The Slick slips a nice elbow through Davis's hands, connecting with Davis's forehead. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Slick landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The Slick is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Davis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time The Slick. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Davis tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. The Slick working over Davis with some ground and pound. Davis looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Davis trying to hold on to The Slick's head to control him but The Slick postures up.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Davis is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Slick is nestled in close to Davis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Oh Davis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The Slick wants to free his trapped foot but Davis is holding on for dear life with his legs. The Slick decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Davis gets tackled into the cage by The Slick. The Slick maintains the clinch. The Slick lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Davis seems to have got his legs back now. The Slick winds up and cracks Davis with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Davis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of The Slick's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take The Slick's back! The Slick is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Davis off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. The Slick wants to get back to his feet. The Slick is really stuck here.
Davis has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, The Slick has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The Slick looking to pass the guard. The Slick slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donkier The Slick dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Donkier The Slick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
The Slick closes the distance and clinches. Davis is fighting off a takedown attempt but The Slick is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Davis to the mat. Davis regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The Slick stays in close to Davis's body and controls the position. Davis working a defensive guard but The Slick manages to pass into side control anyway.
The Slick wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davis keeps working. The Slick is putting a hurting on Davis here, landing some big shots from side control. Davis is trying to control The Slick's posture but The Slick avoids it. Davis is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because The Slick is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis manages to work his way to half guard, despite The Slick's best efforts. The Slick scoring with strikes to the body and head. The Slick landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The Slick seems to be looking for submissions.
The Slick wants to take a breather but Davis is having none of it. The Slick winds up and cracks Davis with a swinging punch to the side of the head. He's concentrating on that move too much though and The Slick pushes past his half guard into mount! The Slick can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davis is looking to escape. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Slick lands a big shot there that rocks Davis but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The Slick goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Davis is on top in guard.

The Slick has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Davis is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from The Slick as he works his way to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Davis looks to land a combination but The Slick avoids it well. The Slick shoots in and bounces Davis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Slick trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Donkier The Slick is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The Slick is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Donkier The Slick comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well The Slick has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
