Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thadus McDoogle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gurgelburg Trollman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDoogle scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Trollman tries to roll over but McDoogle keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Thadus McDoogle just wasn't active enough.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McDoogle not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

That was a close round but I would say that Thadus McDoogle will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Trollman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McDoogle misses with a low kick as Trollman jumps back.
McDoogle clinches up with Trollman and pushes him back against the cage.
McDoogle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Trollman tried to score with a low kick but McDoogle checks it.

McDoogle has Trollman up against the cage in a clinch.
McDoogle is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Trollman can't fight it off and eventually McDoogle manages to take the fight to the floor. Trollman looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Trollman looking for submissions from the bottom but instead McDoogle passes into half guard.

Trollman is looking for a sweep. McDoogle is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Trollman is pressing down on McDoogle's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Trollman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McDoogle passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trollman is looking to control McDoogle's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Trollman avoid being mounted?
Trollman wants to improve his position but McDoogle is controlling well.

McDoogle content to control rather than advance.
Trollman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Trollman looking for a guillotine here but McDoogle defends easily.
McDoogle engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
McDoogle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Trollman on the ground.
McDoogle trying to control the position from guard on top but Trollman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
McDoogle wanted to stand there but Trollman had control of the position.

McDoogle wants to control from the top but Trollman keeps moving.
Thadus McDoogle has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
McDoogle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trollman's waist but Trollman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McDoogle off to one side.
McDoogle slaps away a takedown attempt from Trollman, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McDoogle goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

McDoogle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McDoogle stuffs the takedown.
Thadus McDoogle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
McDoogle throws a right and a left that both miss.
McDoogle fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Trollman to the ground. McDoogle is now in Trollman's guard.
Trollman looking to control.
Trollman is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
McDoogle trying to control but Trollman is working from the bottom.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Trollman blocks a head kick by McDoogle.
McDoogle scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Thadus McDoogle overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Trollman is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked McDoogle off and has taken his back!
McDoogle is keeping busy.
You can see the frustration on McDoogle's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
McDoogle is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Trollman gets his way!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
