The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bordado has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Van Damme.
Bordado looks to score with a jab to the body but Van Damme is just out of range.
Bordado is looking to land body kicks.
Bordado throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Van Damme lands a slapping body shot.
Bordado on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Van Damme bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bordado's head backwards.
Nice uppercut there from Van Damme.
Van Damme checks the leg kick nicely there.
Bordado looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Van Damme cracks Bordado with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Van Damme throws a shot to the body.
Van Damme is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Bordado throws a leg kick that misses.
Bordado fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Van Damme has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Van Damme, as that shot connected.
Bordado is rocked!
