Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juana wants to clinch.
Diaz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Juana looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Diaz works to advance to full mount. Juana defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Diaz tries to control but Juana wriggling away.
Poor strikes thrown by Diaz there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Juana bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Diaz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Juana wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving.

Diaz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Juana throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Diaz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nate Diaz.
Diaz takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Juana doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Diaz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Juana won't be happy with that.

Juana is looking for a sweep.
Diaz has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Diaz slips a jab and a cross from Juana.

Diaz drives through and clinches with Juana against the cage.

Juana is looking for a triangle but Diaz pushes his legs off easily.

Diaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Juana. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Nate Diaz was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Diaz tries to clinch there but Juana circles away.

Juana tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Diaz is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Juana can't fight it off and eventually Diaz manages to take the fight to the floor. Juana looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Diaz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Diaz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Juana sprawls well initially but Diaz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Diaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Juana keeps working.
Juana gets back to full guard.

Diaz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Juana manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Diaz has Juana in his guard.
Diaz wants to sweep here but Juana controlling him for the moment.

Diaz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Juana kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Juana working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Diaz pulls Juana in to control the position.
Diaz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Juana is fighting to break Diaz's control of his arms but Diaz is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Diaz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Juana pushes him off.
Diaz scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Diaz tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
You can see the frustration on Juana's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Juana is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Diaz off and has taken his back!
Diaz is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Juana working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Diaz is doing well to defend. Juana seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Diaz is forced to tap and this one is over!
