Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kamil Kalinowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolas De Ertu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicolas De Ertu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kamil Kalinowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nicolas De Ertu!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Ertu throws a body punch but Kalinowski moves out of range.
Kalinowski fails with an attempt to clinch.
De Ertu is looking to clinch.
Kalinowski lunges at De Ertu with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by De Ertu's hand.
Kalinowski throws a head kick that misses.

De Ertu has closed the distance and engaged Kalinowski in a clinch.
De Ertu tries to break free but Kalinowski pushes him back against the cage.
De Ertu wants to break free but Kalinowski has control.
Kalinowski manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Kalinowski stalling in the clinch but De Ertu improves position.
Kalinowski scores with a nice hook to the head.

Kalinowski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kalinowski lands a jab to De Ertu's midsection.
The fight stays on the outside here - De Ertu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kalinowski tries to close the distance and clinch but De Ertu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kalinowski connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kamil Kalinowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Ertu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kalinowski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
De Ertu closes the distance and clinches up with Kalinowski, looking for a takedown. De Ertu pushes Kalinowski against the cage but Kalinowski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kalinowski swats away the attempt to clinch by De Ertu.
De Ertu fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kalinowski checks it well.
Kalinowski misses with a head kick.
Kalinowski misses with a body shot.
Kalinowski throws a good cross that connects.
Kalinowski fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

De Ertu feints and as Kalinowski raises his hands in defense, De Ertu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kalinowski isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. De Ertu stacks Kalinowski on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by De Ertu!
Kalinowski throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
De Ertu lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
De Ertu is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kalinowski's shoulder. That is not cool.
De Ertu creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Kalinowski wants to get back to his feet but De Ertu is dominant here and he's now got Kalinowski's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
De Ertu controls the action.
Kalinowski controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
De Ertu not allowing Kalinowski to control his hands.
What can Kalinowski do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Kalinowski covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kalinowski looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
De Ertu keeps control of the position as Kalinowski tries to break free.
De Ertu trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
De Ertu just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Kalinowski is covering up but some of the strikes from De Ertu are getting through and doing damage.

De Ertu has his arm under Kalinowski's chin here. Game over son! De Ertu squeezes tightly and Kalinowski is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Nicolas De Ertu!
A very excited looking Nicolas De Ertu rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
