Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kendrick Hardison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardison comes to the cage accompanied by Get Low. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kendrick Hardison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Roberts! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardison shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roberts pinned against the cage. Roberts gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Roberts gets the takedown into side control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Roberts misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Roberts is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hardison knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roberts wants to take a breather but Hardison manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Roberts. Roberts preventing the sweep. Roberts thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Roberts drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roberts jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardison wants to sweep but no luck. Roberts is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hardison is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Roberts drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roberts jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Roberts is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Roberts drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hardison looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hardison looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hardison! Hardison working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roberts tries to bench press Hardison off him but Hardison keeps the position. Roberts is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Hardison happy to just control the position for now. Roberts is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hardison off and has taken his back! Hardison tries to escape but Roberts has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Roberts working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Hardison is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Roberts has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Hardison taps out!
