Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Donal OSullivan ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Rogan! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A thudding body kick lands there by Rogan!
A nice inside leg kick there by Rogan. That's going to slow OSullivan down. Rogan looks to land a body kick but OSullivan moved away. OSullivan is looking to clinch. No joy there for OSullivan , who threw a few shots but didn't land.

OSullivan does a little dance to reset his feet. Rogan thumps OSullivan with a low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by OSullivan there. OSullivan is breathing heavily. OSullivan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rogan. Rogan throws a head kick but OSullivan moves out of range.
OSullivan tries to clinch up. Rogan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but OSullivan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. OSullivan wants to stand but Rogan has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Rogan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Horrible takedown by Rogan or perhaps it was just good defense by OSullivan which made him look bad. Donal OSullivan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! OSullivan throws a head kick that misses.
