Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuya Kawajiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerzy Arlecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawajiri comes to the cage accompanied by Water Pow . Arlecki has chosen Undead as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tatsuya Kawajiri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerzy Arlecki! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kawajiri fails with a takedown attempt. Kawajiri shoots in for a double leg but Arlecki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kawajiri fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tatsuya Kawajiri. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kawajiri throws a right hand that misses
and Arlecki counters with a big head kick but Kawajiri shrugs it off. Kawajiri doesn't succeed with the takedown and Arlecki counters with a body kick that stops Kawajiri in his tracks momentarily. Arlecki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Arlecki feints and then cracks Kawajiri's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kawajiri down. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kawajiri gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Arlecki counters with an inside leg kick. Kawajiri misses with a takedown attempt and Arlecki counters with a good low kick that Kawajiri was not able to check.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arlecki scores with a hook to the body. Kawajiri takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kawajiri shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Arlecki as he avoids it easily. Nice shot by Arlecki. Kawajiri takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Arlecki tries to clinch up but Kawajiri circles away and keeps his distance. Kawajiri shoots in but no luck this time. Kawajiri with a lazy takedown attempt and Arlecki counters with a good, hard body kick but Kawajiri shrugs it off. Kawajiri is breathing heavily. Kawajiri fails with a takedown attempt. Arlecki lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Arlecki throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arlecki pushes Kawajiri up against the cage in a clinch. Arlecki stalling.
Arlecki makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Kawajiri drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Arlecki is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. A short right hand to the side of the head by Arlecki. Arlecki lands a hook to the side of the head. Arlecki lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kawajiri backwards. Kawajiri is trying to drag Arlecki to the mat but Arlecki just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Arlecki lands a body shot. Arlecki lands a shoulder strike. Arlecki scores with a nice hook to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arlecki presses Kawajiri against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Kawajiri looking for a takedown. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Arlecki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Arlecki lands a hook to the side of the head. Arlecki gets through Kawajiri's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Arlecki tries to work over Kawajiri's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kawajiri dodges an elbow strike from Arlecki.
Kawajiri goes for a takedown attempt but Arlecki pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kawajiri on the wrong end of a nice hook. Arlecki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kawajiri paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kawajiri steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Arlecki. That one must have hurt. Arlecki moves into the clinch. Arlecki is trying to maintain a safe position but Kawajiri gets an underhook and turns Arlecki into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kawajiri is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Arlecki landing knees to the head.
Arlecki cracks Kawajiri with a nice body shot. Arlecki pushes Kawajiri back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Arlecki working Kawajiri over with knees to the body. Kawajiri tries for a takedown but Arlecki manages to get underhooks.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Arlecki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Arlecki controlling the action here for a moment.
Arlecki lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kawajiri backwards. Arlecki lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Arlecki is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kawajiri is keeping busy. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kawajiri drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kawajiri goes for a takedown in the clinch but Arlecki prevents it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerzy Arlecki dominated that round. That's time! Kawajiri's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Arlecki lands with a right that hurts Kawajiri. Kawajiri looks to clinch but Arlecki throws a short knee that drops Kawajiri. This one is all over!
