Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Nico Parcon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Magus Arbenson! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parcon with a hook. Parcon misses with a few strikes there.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Parcon. Arbenson scores a takedown into full mount! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Arbenson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Arbenson looking for a guillotine from mount but Parcon is having none of it. Parcon is trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A nice elbow there by Arbenson. Arbenson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Parcon to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Parcon shrugs it off. Arbenson trying to control but Parcon is having none of it. Parcon somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parcon swats away the attempt to clinch by Arbenson. Parcon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Arbenson moves away. Arbenson tries to clinch up. Parcon with a poor takedown and Arbenson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Parcon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Arbenson pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nico Parcon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Parcon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Arbenson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Parcon lands with a punch from half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Arbenson is defending against the submission attempts here by Parcon.

That was a close round but I would say that Nico Parcon will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Parcon tries for a takedown but Arbenson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Arbenson moves into the clinch successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circle momentarily. Parcon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Arbenson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Parcon throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Arbenson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Arbenson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Parcon lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Parcon tries for a takedown but Arbenson manages to get underhooks.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Arbenson landing knees to the head.

Magus Arbenson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Nico Parcon's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Parcon is looking for a takedown. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Parcon is trying to drag Arbenson to the mat but Arbenson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Arbenson lands an elbow just above Parcon 's eye. Parcon has had enough of the clinch but Arbenson keeps him there for the moment. Sloppy strikes there by Parcon. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Parcon goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Arbenson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Parcon but great work by Arbenson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arbenson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Parcon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Parcon taking punishment in the form of punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Arbenson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Arbenson prevents Parcon from escaping the position. Arbenson has hold of Parcon's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Parcon tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Arbenson cranks the arm and Parcon screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Parcon, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
