Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Training Partner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Werdumov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Werdumov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. wait and bleed kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Training Partner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Werdumov! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Partner fails to land the takedown. Werdumov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Partner. Werdumov fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Partner takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Werdumov clinches. Werdumov is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Werdumov obliges. Partner is breathing heavily. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Partner is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Training Partner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Werdumov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Werdumov lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Werdumov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Werdumov tries to clinch up but Partner circles away and keeps his distance. Werdumov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Werdumov stands and steps away. Partner gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Werdumov comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Partner. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Partner letting Werdumov take a breather here. Partner has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Werdumov after a bit of a struggle. Werdumov using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
