The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sailor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blake avoids it really well and circles away.
Blake throws a hook to the side of Sailor's head but Sailor sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sailor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blake pinned against the cage. Blake gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Blake counters with a nice uppercut.

Blake drops his hands momentarily and Sailor takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Blake throws a looping overhand right but Sailor ducks down to avoid it.
Rodney Blake is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Blake closes the distance and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sailor throws a shot from downtown. Blake moves away and avoids it.
Sailor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blake moves away.

and Blake makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blake displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sailor.

Blake wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Wendell Sailor's cut is getting worse.
Sailor's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blake connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sailor scrambles back to his feet.

Blake drops Sailor with a straight right hand, right on the button! Blake follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
