Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sandor Bodor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Lyoto Silva!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is looking to clinch but Bodor is avoiding it.
Silva takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Bodor shoots and misses

and Silva holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Silva tries a body shot but Bodor blocks it.
Bodor has Silva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Silva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bodor fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sandor Bodor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Bodor tries to score a body lock takedown but Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Silva decides to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bodor drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Silva dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bodor wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Silva stands up from Bodor's guard - Silva perhaps looking for a knockout.
Silva lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Silva tries to clinch but Bodor is having none of it.
Bodor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Silva counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bodor manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Silva gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bodor drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Silva gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bodor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bodor lands in his opponent's guard.

Bodor drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Silva manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bodor has Silva in his guard.

Bodor is wriggling around but Silva manages to pass to half guard.
Bodor pushes Silva off looking to stand but Silva dives back in and keeps control.
Bodor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silva lands strikes from half guard.

Silva decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Bodor ducks under a wild hook from Silva.
Bodor shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Silva rushes Bodor and presses him up against the cage.

Silva gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bodor is in trouble now - Silva has advanced to mount!
Bodor tries to reverse the position but Silva maintains control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Silva is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Bodor is trying to stand up.
Silva cracks Bodor with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bodor is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Silva tries to control but Bodor wriggling away.
Bodor is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bodor bucks up and throws Silva to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Silva slips a jab and a cross from Bodor.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lyoto Silva dominated that round.
That's time! Bodor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bodor fails with the takedown
and Silva counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bodor is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Bodor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Bodor persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Bodor steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Silva. That one must have hurt.
Silva wants to clinch.
Bodor gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bodor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sandor Bodor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bodor shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bodor gets slowly back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva digs a good body shot into Bodor's ribs.

Silva drops Bodor with a beautiful combination! Bodor stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silva is looking for the KO!

Bodor is rocked!
Silva throws a powerful right kick. Bodor tried to block low but the kick was high! Bodor was taken right off of his feet! Silva jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
