The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos motions for Shorts to come forward. Dos Santos throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Shorts tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dos Santos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shorts somewhat.
Dos Santos moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Shorts misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dos Santos moves to clinch but Shorts breaks away
and Shorts counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dos Santos's knee momentarily.
