Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Can't Be Touched by Roy Jones Jr. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ricky Ortiz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ray Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricky Ortiz! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Hall as he connects with a hook. Hall digs a good body shot into Ortiz's ribs. Hall tries to bum rush Ortiz with a series of wild strikes but Ortiz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hall scores with a shot to the body.
Hall digs a good body shot into Ortiz's ribs. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Danga de danga de dang - Hall scores with a four punch combination! Ray Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hall on the wrong end of a nice hook. Ortiz has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ortiz there as he acknowledges the shot. Hall lands a body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ortiz. Ortiz thumps Hall with a low kick. Hall throws a one two combo.
Hall throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hall is looking to wear down Ortiz with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Hall tries to keep at a distance but Ortiz has taken the fight into the clinch. Hall is looking to break free of the clinch but Ortiz has double underhooks. Hall tries to stall but Ortiz uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Ortiz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Hall.
Hall connects with a single shot there. Hall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A jab from Ortiz misses. Hall misses with a series of wild punches.
Ortiz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hall works over Ortiz's head and body with a nice combination.
Ortiz is rocked! Hall connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Ortiz covering up! Hall comes in with a big uppercut and Ortiz goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ray Hall!
