The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Everyday throws a quick inside leg kick.
McGully shoots for a takedown but Everyday saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McGully dives in and grabs Everyday's left leg, looking for a takedown. Everyday pushes down on McGully's head and hops out.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Everyday. McGully shrugs it off though.
McGully shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Everyday sprawls well. Everyday wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McGully gets slowly back to his feet.
Herb Everyday has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason McGully.

McGully tries to sprawl but Everyday drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Everyday looks to land a strike but McGully avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Everyday wants to control from the top but McGully keeps moving.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Everyday accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Everyday might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Everyday lands a couple of elbows.
Everyday postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

McGully is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

McGully is looking to stand up but Everyday isn't so interested in that idea.
Everyday wants to pass the guard but McGully is keeping the position.
McGully utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
McGully wants to stand but Everyday is controlling the position.
Everyday is looking to work some ground and pound but McGully has wrist control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Everyday won't allow McGully to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McGully is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Everyday is controlling him well.
Everyday creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Everyday cracks McGully with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Everyday lands a big elbow.
Everyday pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGully is squirming around, avoiding Everyday's attempts to control the action.

Everyday postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt McGully bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Everyday and the fight is over!
