Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fincent LeBlond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce's entrance music is I want it all. A fine choice. LeBlond has chosen Kari Tapio - Olen Suomalainen as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Fincent LeBlond was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeBlond lands a nice shot that snaps Bruce's head back.
Bruce throws an ugly left hook that misses
and LeBlond counters with a good low kick that Bruce was not able to check.
LeBlond shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bruce checks a leg kick nicely.
Bruce scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Fincent LeBlond has been cut.
Bruce scores with a nice strike.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
LeBlond moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bruce closes the distance looking to clinch
letting LeBlond counter with a right hand.

LeBlond tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Bruce tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and LeBlond avoids it.

Bruce finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
LeBlond lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

LeBlond dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bruce. That did some damage!
Bruce swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Bruce connects with a good right hand that stumbles LeBlond. LeBlond circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
LeBlond throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Bruce counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

LeBlond looks for a takedown but Bruce sprawls well.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from LeBlond.
Bruce doesn't manage to clinch there - LeBlond circles away.

Bruce throws a hook but LeBlond avoids it easily.

Bruce throws out a loose jab but LeBlond uses good head movement to avoid it.
LeBlond fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
LeBlond turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Bruce has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from LeBlond.
LeBlond stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
LeBlond scores with a shot to the body.

The fight stays on the outside here - LeBlond looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
LeBlond tries to clinch there but Bruce circles away.
Bruce clobbers LeBlond with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
LeBlond ducks under a wild hook from Bruce.
Bruce throws a low kick but LeBlond avoids it.
Good leg kick by LeBlond there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
LeBlond uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bruce.
LeBlond has taken the fight to the clinch.
LeBlond takes a shot to the head.
Nice body punch from Bruce.
LeBlond is trying to maintain a safe position but Bruce gets an underhook and turns LeBlond into the ropes.
LeBlond connects with a nasty looking knee right to Bruce's face.
It looks like Simon Bruce has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

LeBlond can't find room to land a body shot as Bruce controls the action.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, LeBlond creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bruce throws a punch but it's blocked by LeBlond.

Bruce misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from LeBlond.

Bruce pushes off an throws an elbow but LeBlond leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bruce moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bruce moves out of range of the leg kick from LeBlond.
LeBlond tried to score with a low kick but Bruce checks it.

and Bruce counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Fincent LeBlond will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bruce decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bruce lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
LeBlond works his way to full guard. Good work.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Bruce tries to free his leg and advance position but LeBlond is retaining full guard.
Bruce wants to control from the top but LeBlond keeps moving.
LeBlond preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
LeBlond trying to control the position.
LeBlond looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bruce has picked LeBlond up and slammed him! LeBlond can't keep hold of the triangle and Bruce manages to pass to side control!
Bruce lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
LeBlond regains half guard, as Bruce was trying to land strikes.
LeBlond tries to roll over but Bruce keeps him under control.

LeBlond is staying active underneath Bruce, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
LeBlond gets full guard.
Bruce with a nice head shot there.
LeBlond has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bruce doesn't defend quickly enough and LeBlond has managed to lock this one up! Can Bruce escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to LeBlond on a fantastic submission victory.
