Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Aurelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aurelius has chosen Requiem For A Dream as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steele does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Steele leaves Aurelius with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dan Steele has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Aurelius.
Horrible takedown by Aurelius or perhaps it was just good defense by Steele which made him look bad.

Aurelius loads up on a big right hand but Steele slips the punch.

Steele throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aurelius stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Aurelius might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Steele has got the better of the exchanges.

Aurelius steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Steele. That one must have hurt.
Aurelius stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Steele.
Aurelius's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Steele here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Well Steele has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
