With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dominick Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pietkriek Gumbi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gumbi bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Gumbi drops Cruz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cruz looks back up at him and smiles so Gumbi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Cruz is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gumbi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cruz walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Cruz limp body while Gumbi jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pietkriek Gumbi!
A very excited looking Pietkriek Gumbi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
