The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz JR tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burrows swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Burrows lands with a right hand.
Ortiz JR pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Burrows looks to land a right hand but Ortiz JR moved out of range.
Ortiz JR throws a head kick that misses.
Ortiz JR takes one on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ortiz JR fails with the takedown.
Burrows lands a jab to Ortiz JR's midsection.
Ortiz JR pushes Burrows up against the cage in a clinch.
Burrows has had enough of the clinch but Ortiz JR keeps him there for the moment.
Burrows wants to get back to striking at distance but Ortiz JR won't allow it.
Ortiz JR pulls guard successfully.
Burrows wants to control from the top but Ortiz JR keeps moving.

Ortiz JR is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ortiz JR utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Burrows trying to control but Ortiz JR is working from the bottom.
Burrows controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We're going to have a standup here because Lincoln Burrows wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Ortiz JR on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ortiz JR.
Ortiz JR misses with a body shot
and Burrows counters with a stiff right hand.

Ortiz JR is looking to clinch but Burrows is avoiding it.
Burrows cracks Ortiz JR with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Burrows has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ortiz JR to stand back up!
Ortiz JR is rocked!
