Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morales defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Miller. Morales lands a really nice looking cross but Miller seems unphased.
Miller takes one on the button. Morales stuns Miller with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Miller tries to clinch but Morales moves out of range. Morales thuds a left hand into Miller's body. Morales swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Morales lands a body shot.
Miller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. This has been an exciting period of action! Morales pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Miller fails with a takedown attempt. Ramos Morales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Miller. Morales throws a body punch but Miller moves out of range. Miller shoots in looking for a takedown. Morales tries to sprawl out of it but Miller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Morales manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Miller on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morales will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Morales lands a jab to Miller's midsection. Morales lands a nice hook to Miller's body. Miller takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Miller looks gassed! Morales misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Miller.
Miller drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Morales is looking to wear down Miller with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Morales lands with a hook. Miller tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Morales misses with a few strikes there.
Morales scores with a punch to the head. Morales lands with a good body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Morales lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Miller at a distance.
Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Morales which made him look bad.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morales scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Miller is rocked! Morales ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Miller is still on wobbly legs! Can Morales finish him? Morales closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Miller out cold! Miller corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ramos Morales! A relieved looking Ramos Morales thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
