The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simans circles away from the clinch attempt
and Simans counters by moving into the clinch.
Simans can't find room to land a body shot as Van Hooven controls the action.
Simans wants to break the clinch but can't.
Van Hooven blocking some punches.
Simans is trying to drag Van Hooven to the mat but Van Hooven just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Simans is trying to pull guard but Van Hooven turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Simans jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Van Hooven walks away with a smile on his face. Simans gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Simans shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Van Hooven but Van Hooven pushes him off and we're back to square one.
