Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between JJ Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Nutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nutt fails to land with a series of punches.
Nutt throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Silva tries for a takedown but Nutt circles away easily
and Nutt counters with a three punch combo that has Silva backing up. Silva nods at Nutt to acknowledge the strikes.
Nutt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mark Nutt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Silva. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Mark Nutt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nutt tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nutt to the ground. Nutt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Nutt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
