The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Block is looking to clinch but Kawasaki is avoiding it.
Kawasaki fails to land with a series of punches.
Block moves out of range of the strikes.
Block fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kawasaki, pushing him back against the cage.
Block breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nice uppercut lands for Kawasaki. That snapped Block's head back.
Block shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kawasaki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Block tries to clinch but Kawasaki is having none of it.
Block darts in and clinches Kawasaki up against the cage.
Kawasaki is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Kawasaki blocks an elbow strike from Block.
Kawasaki wants to get back to striking at distance but Block won't allow it.
Kawasaki is looking to break free of the clinch but Block has double underhooks.
Kawasaki tries to break the clinch but Block is controlling the position.
Block jumps guard.
Block working for a triangle but Kawasaki defends it easily.

Block avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kawasaki is posturing up here but Block has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kawasaki tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kawasaki has to tap! Slick submission there by Block!
