Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bj Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Taul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn comes into the arena with The Matrix blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn lands a left and a right that send Taul crashing to the mat, dazed. Penn thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Taul looks to clinch
and Penn counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Taul tries to keep at a distance but Penn has taken the fight into the clinch.
Taul gets underhooks to prevent Penn's takedown attempt.
Taul is trying to break the clinch but Penn is controlling him.
Penn avoids a wild elbow strike from Taul.
Penn wants the takedown. Taul is fighting it off but Penn persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Taul's guard against the cage.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Penn stays in close to Taul's body and controls the position.
Taul is working an open guard so Penn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Penn instigates a clinch.
Penn blocks an elbow strike.
Penn manages to break the clinch.
Taul tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Penn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Taul tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Taul misses with a series of wild punches.

and Penn counters with a crisp one two that drops Taul! Penn thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Taul to his feet! Taul is in big trouble!
Taul is rocked!
It looks like Dustin Taul has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Taul looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Penn is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Taul is trying to escape back to his feet but Penn uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Penn throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Penn tries to score with some ground and pound. Taul controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Taul is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Penn has control of an arm but Taul manages to advance to Penn's back!

Penn pulls Taul in close to prevent any damage.
Penn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Penn kicks Taul off and gets to his feet.
Taul looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Taul rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Penn counters with a crisp one two that drops Taul! Penn thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Taul to his feet! Taul is in big trouble!
Taul is still on wobbly legs! Can Penn finish him?

Penn catches Taul with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Taul forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
