And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcortner has managed to clinch.

Mcortner tightens his grip and picks Gundarsson up, before dumping him to the ground. Gundarsson manages to land in guard.

Gundarsson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mcortner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gundarsson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gundarsson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mcortner controls the pace.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcortner really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Gundarsson.

Mcortner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mcortner manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Gundarsson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mcortner looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mcortner looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mcortner!

Mcortner is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gundarsson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

James Mcortner is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
