Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Laskownik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lie has chosen we right here as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Laskownik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Lie!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lie throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lie looks to clinch
and Laskownik counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Laskownik content to control rather than advance.
Laskownik seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lie for as long as he can get away with.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bob Laskownik.
Lie throws a right and a left that Laskownik avoids nicely.
Lie swinging wildly here.
Laskownik ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lie gets caught flat footed, as Laskownik shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Laskownik stands and throws Lie's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Laskownik is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lie is trying to escape and Laskownik transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lie is forced to tap! Nice work there by Laskownik! Very nice indeed!
