Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ace Portgas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ace Portgas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Greene! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greene closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Portgas to the mat! Portgas manages to get full guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Greene is looking to stand up but Portgas won't let him. Portgas wants to stand up but Greene is controlling him. Portgas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Portgas avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Portgas is trying to keep Greene in close.
Greene trying to stand up but can't free himself from Portgas's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Greene postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Greene scoring with punches to the head and body. Greene decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Greene feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greene wants to stand and escape but instead Portgas has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Portgas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Greene has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Portgas off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Portgas tries to bum rush Greene with a series of wild strikes but Greene uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Greene doesn't manage to clinch there - Portgas circles away.
Greene scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Greene not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Greene not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Greene drops an elbow to the side of Portgas's head. Portgas is breathing heavily. Portgas tries to kick Greene off but Greene keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Portgas misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Portgas wants to control but Greene is keeping busy and won't allow it. Greene scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Greene slips a nice elbow through Portgas's hands, connecting with Portgas's forehead. Portgas blocking the ground and pound attempt from Greene. Greene wants to stand up but Portgas is controlling the position.
Greene not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Greene stands up from half guard. Greene drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greene wanted to stand there but Portgas had control of the position. Greene working some strikes from top position. Greene throws an elbow that misses. Portgas uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Greene's guard. Nice move by Portgas! Greene is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Greene tries to clinch there but Portgas circles away.
Greene closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Greene works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Greene stands up and beckons Portgas to his feet. It's a brutal combination of punches from Greene! Portgas is backing up but he can't get away as Greene lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Portgas and ends the fight. Great knockout.
