Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kuroda Atsushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suchart Chaowanungkarn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaowanungkarn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Muay Thai fight music. Kuroda Atsushi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Suchart Chaowanungkarn!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaowanungkarn tries a low kick but Atsushi avoids it.
Atsushi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chaowanungkarn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Atsushi somewhat.
Atsushi fails with a takedown attempt.
Chaowanungkarn gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Atsushi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chaowanungkarn thinking.

Chaowanungkarn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Atsushi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Atsushi prevents a body shot from Chaowanungkarn.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kuroda Atsushi will probably get the nod.
