Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chumba Wumba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nom Nomm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nomm has chosen Nyan Cat as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wumba drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wumba jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nomm can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nomm rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wumba moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nomm throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wumba stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Wumba jumps guard and drags Nomm to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Nomm gets to his feet. Wumba looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nomm changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wumba tries to close the distance and clinch but Nomm swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Nomm lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

No joy there for Nomm, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nomm keeps the fight on the outside.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chumba Wumba.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wumba, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
