Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santeri Sikaniska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Project Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sikaniska comes to the cage accompanied by 2 Brothers on the 4th floor - Fairytales. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Project Omega! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sikaniska fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Omega closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Omega grinds an elbow into Sikaniska's temple. Omega slows the pace down. Omega is looking to take a break and control but Sikaniska is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sikaniska tries to buck Omega off but Omega is having none of it. Omega working the ground and pound but Sikaniska is defending the strikes. Sikaniska knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Omega on the ground. Omega lands an elbow.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sikaniska tries to get out of the position. Omega tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Omega should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Sikaniska is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Omega has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Omega closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Omega lands in his opponent's guard. Omega stands and throws Sikaniska's legs to the side, diving into side control. Omega trying to control the action but Sikaniska is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Omega stalls from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sikaniska is not content to let Omega control the position. Sikaniska is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Omega asserts his dominance and retains side control. Omega decides to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sikaniska tries to bum rush Omega with a series of wild strikes but Omega uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Omega shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sikaniska's guard. Omega with a flurry of punches that miss. Omega throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sikaniska works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sikaniska avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Omega throwing strikes but missing. Omega throws and elbow that misses. Sikaniska uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Omega's guard. Nice move by Sikaniska! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Project Omega dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Project Omega showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Omega fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sikaniska sprawls well initially but Omega persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sikaniska trying to control from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Omega thows a huge punch but Sikaniska dodges it nicely.
Sikaniska is staying active underneath Omega, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Omega stands up from half guard. Omega takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sikaniska lands a left and a right that sends Omega crashing to the canvas! Sikaniska dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Project Omega has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sikaniska controlling from mount. Omega is still in real trouble! Can Sikaniska finish him? Sikaniska seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Omega for as long as he can get away with.
