Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mario Balotelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balotelli comes to the cage accompanied by Coolio- Gangster's Paradise . Mark Silva looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balotelli tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Balotelli as he jumps to the side.
Balotelli moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.

and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Balotelli's waist but Balotelli gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mario Balotelli will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Silva has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Balotelli to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Silva is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Balotelli pulls down on the head and he's put Silva to sleep! This one is all over!
