Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aj Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aj Santos is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos checks a leg kick.
Morgan thuds his right hand into Santos's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Morgan tries to bum rush Santos with a series of wild strikes but Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Santos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Morgan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Santos back to the cage. Morgan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Santos tries for a takedown but Morgan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Morgan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Morgan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Santos has his foot on Morgan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Morgan works his way back into a safe position though.

Santos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Morgan.

Morgan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Morgan wants it to stay on the feet.

Morgan stalks Santos and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Santos's face. Santos staggers backwards, shaken.

Santos throws a hook to the side of Morgan's head but Morgan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Morgan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Morgan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Morgan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Morgan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Santos is trying desperately to land a takedown but Morgan is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Santos.

Santos is looking to sinch up a triangle. Morgan throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Santos's body to avoid the submission. Santos has instead reached around Morgan's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Santos arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
