Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Picker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sharp has chosen Feel like a Ninja as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Picker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Sharp! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sharp tries to clinch up. Picker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sharp is fending him off so far but Picker persists. Nope, Sharp circles away and we're back to standing. Sharp shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Picker as he jumps to the side. Picker throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sharp tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Picker is in Sharp's guard. Sharp working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Picker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Picker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Picker throws a strike but Sharp rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Picker looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Picker keeping moving, preventing Sharp from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Picker holds on and takes a little breather. Sharp advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Picker sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Sharp is looking for a kimura but Picker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sharp to get the leverage. Sharp prevents Picker from improving his position. Picker gets full guard. Sharp would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Picker trying to control the position here. Sharp wants to control from the top but Picker keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sharp wants to pass the guard but Picker is keeping the position. Sharp has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Picker is proving hard to escape from. Sharp stopping the sweep attempt from Picker. Picker managing to control the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sharp tries to clinch there but Picker circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sharp gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Picker to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sharp keeping full guard, as Picker tries to pass. Picker is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Sharp trying to control the position here. Picker scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Picker scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Picker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sharp's head. Picker controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Picker cracks Sharp with a solid left hand. Picker slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Picker postures up and lands a big shot to Sharp's brow. Picker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Picker chips away with some ground and pound. Picker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Sharp looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Picker is defending well. Sharp quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Picker has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sharp celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
