Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Burgemeister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Chimpo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burgemeister's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lil Scrappy - Head Bussa. Chimpo has chosen 8 second ride as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Daniel Burgemeister has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burgemeister throws a lazy right hand but Chimpo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Burgemeister throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Chimpo staying out of range there. Burgemeister swinging wilding here.
Chimpo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Burgemeister misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chimpo.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Chimpo moves forwards but Burgemeister connects with a nice, crisp jab. Burgemeister misses with a two punch combination.

Chimpo swings around for an armbar but Burgemeister sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Chimpo's guard. Burgemeister is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd cheers as Burgemeister lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chimpo doesn't seem phased though. Chimpo has Burgemeister up against the cage in a clinch.

and Chimpo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Chimpo. Chimpo is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Burgemeister is keeping busy. Chimpo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

It looks like Johnny Chimpo has been cut. Burgemeister wants to clinch up but Chimpo keeps it at a distance. Burgemeister looks to clinch and Chimpo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Burgemeister's knee momentarily. Burgemeister throws a leg kick and Chimpo counters by clinching up. Burgemeister breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Chimpo stands and throws Burgemeister's legs to the side, diving into side control. Chimpo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Burgemeister, who protects the arm well. Chimpo tries for a kimura but Burgemeister is defending well. Chimpo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chimpo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Burgemeister stops Chimpo from passing to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Chimpo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Johnny Chimpo's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
