The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Cunnings. Nasri does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nasri has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nasri there as he acknowledges the shot.

Cunnings throws a series of punches but Nasri moves out of range.
Cunnings lands a nice shot to the body.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Nasri is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cunnings is just riding it out for now. Nasri eventually gives up the hold.

Cunnings is in trouble now - Nasri has advanced to mount!
Nasri has hold of Cunnings's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cunnings manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Nasri tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Cunnings looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

Cunnings tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Cunnings is desperately trying to improve his position but Nasri has a good base and remains in mount.

Cunnings stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cunnings wants it to stay on the feet.

Cunnings throws a head kick but Nasri moves out of range.
Nasri shoots in but Cunnings avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cunnings moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Nasri closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cunnings quickly recovers to half guard.
Cunnings wants to improve his position but Nasri is controlling well.

Nasri is working for a submission of some sort.
Cunnings might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Nasri in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Cunnings tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nasri!
