Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Maksim Zotov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Summer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zotov comes to the cage accompanied by Мы расправи. Andrew Summer has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Summer takes the fight into the clinch.
Summer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zotov just stands there and leans against the cage.

Summer pulls Zotov into guard.

Summer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zotov defends well.
Summer is pulling down on Zotov's head. It's preventing any offense from Zotov, at least for the moment.
Zotov throws a strike but Summer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Zotov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Summer wants to pass the guard but Zotov is keeping the position.
Zotov has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Summer has passed into side control.

Summer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Summer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Zotov gets back to half guard.
Zotov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Summer thows a huge punch but Zotov dodges it nicely.
Summer works his way into full mount!
A nice elbow there by Summer.

Summer manages to capitalize on a mistake by Zotov to take his back!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Summer is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Summer looking to break Zotov's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Zotov remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Summer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Zotov breaks Summer's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Summer can't keep his opponent in guard - Zotov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Zotov seems to be working for a kimura but Summer defends the submission attempt.

Summer is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Summer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Zotov is squirming around, avoiding Summer's attempts to control the action.
Zotov is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zotov is working hard here to advance position.
Summer sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Let's hope that Summer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Zotov throws a leg kick but Summer moved away.
Good leg kick by Zotov there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Zotov is looking to clinch.
Summer throws a nice looking combination but Zotov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Zotov looks to land a left hand but Summer moved out of range nicely.
Zotov finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Summer misses with a double jab.

Summer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zotov, pushing him back against the cage.

Summer blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Summer tries to stall but Zotov uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Zotov throws an elbow but it misses.
Zotov prevents Summer from breaking the clinch.

Summer jumps guard and drags Zotov to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Summer pulls Zotov in to control the position.

Summer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Summer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Zotov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Zotov is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Summer frees his head nicely. Oh but Zotov has switched to an armbar! Summer is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
