Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benny Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Erik Andersen!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersen digs a good body shot into Hill's ribs.
Hill keeps the fight on the outside.
Hill has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Andersen.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hill.
Andersen tries to clinch up but Hill circles away and keeps his distance.

Hill closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Andersen quickly recovers to half guard.
Hill really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hill not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The fighters are battling for position here. Andersen manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Hill won't allow Andersen to sweep him here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Andersen has his foot on Hill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hill works his way back into a safe position though.

Hill keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Andersen's head.
Andersen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hill is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andersen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hill manages to get himself to full guard.

Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Andersen on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hill doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Hill pushes Andersen off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Andersen tries to clinch but Hill moves out of range.
Andersen checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Hill has closed the distance and engaged Andersen in a clinch.
Andersen stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hill wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hill managing to block the knees to the body from Andersen.
Hill blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Andersen looking to stall.
Andersen is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Hill has denied him.
Hill is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Andersen to keep the fight standing.

Andersen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hill has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Hill wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Andersen is trying to stall.
Hill tries to break the clinch but Andersen is controlling the position.

Hill managing to block the knees to the body from Andersen.
Andersen pushes Hill back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Hill goes for a takedown attempt but Andersen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Benny Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Andersen lands with a kick to the temple. Hill shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"


It looks like Benny Hill has been cut.
Andersen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hill moves away.
Jon Erik Andersen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Andersen's corner calls for a 1-2. Andersen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Andersen throws a right hand that Hill ducks under and follows up with a left that Hill also avoids with ease.

Hill drives through with a takedown into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hill throws an elbow that misses. Andersen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hill's guard. Nice move by Andersen!
Hill throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hill is on top in guard.

Andersen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Andersen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hill's guard.
Hill wants to control but Andersen passes easily into half guard.
Andersen moves into full mount! Hill won't be happy about that!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hill tries to hold on but Andersen pushes him away.
Hill is in a horrible position here. Andersen smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Erik Andersen dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Benny Hill's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hill drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hill in side control lands a decent elbow.
Hill is putting a hurting on Andersen here, landing some big shots from side control.
Hill creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Andersen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Sloppy strikes there by Hill.
Andersen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hill's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Andersen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hill's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hill's back!

Hill trying to control the hands but Andersen won't let him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Andersen cracks Hill with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Hill from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Andersen sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Hill taps out!
