Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Blake Perez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aldo Linog!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linog shoots in looking for a takedown. Perez tries to sprawl out of it but Linog keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Perez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown by Linog or perhaps it was just good defense by Perez which made him look bad.
Linog fails to land the takedown.
Blake Perez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aldo Linog.

Perez tries to sprawl but Linog drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Linog drops an elbow to the side of Perez's head.
Perez misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Linog is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Linog wants to take a breather but Perez is having none of it.

Perez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Linog's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Linog's back!

Perez misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That was a close second round but I would say that Blake Perez will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Linog is nestled in close to Perez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Linog winds up and cracks Perez with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Linog has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Linog breaks from Perez's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Aldo Linog has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A nice elbow there by Linog.
Perez is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Linog takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The referee warns Perez that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
