Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ace Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nyrkki Sankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darko comes to the cage accompanied by The Black Keys - Breaks. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sankari's choice of entrance music: The Odorants - This Night. Nyrkki Sankari has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nyrkki Sankari!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Darko is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sankari sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Sankari throws a body punch but Darko moves out of range.
Darko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Darko is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sankari's half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Darko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Sankari is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Darko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sankari swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Darko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Darko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Darko looks up at the clock and then as Sankari takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Darko smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The strikes coming from Darko are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ace Darko dominated that round.
That's time! Darko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sankari scores with a crisp jab that stopped Darko in his tracks.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Darko, right into the meat.

Crunch! Sankari slams his shin into Darko's torso.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sankari lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ace Darko will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Darko with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sankari to score with a decent uppercut.

Sankari is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The crowd cheers as Sankari lands an impressive looking overhand right. Darko doesn't seem phased though.
Sankari lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Darko up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Sankari from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Darko's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nyrkki Sankari!
