Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Tripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Abrams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tripper kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Shout 2000. Abrams has chosen Kreator - Violent Revolution as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tripper tries to land a front kick but Abrams steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Abrams connects with a leg kick. Tripper looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Good exchange - Abrams coming out on top.
Tripper throws a solid leg kick but Abrams takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tripper.

and Abrams counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Tripper feints and then cracks Abrams's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Abrams down.

Tripper is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Tripper seems to be looking for submissions.
Tripper is trying to control the action in half guard but Abrams is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Tripper looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Abrams is trying to maintain the position but Tripper is very close to passing his half guard.

Tripper throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Abrams has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tripper is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tripper seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Abrams does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Tripper is working for a kimura but Abrams is defending it quite comfortably.

Abrams is pressing down on Tripper's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Abrams manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tripper tries to reverse the position but Abrams maintains control.
Abrams wants to control the pace but Tripper is squirming around nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Abrams might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tripper kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That kick from Abrams tenderised Tripper's leg. Tripper is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tripper does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Abrams stuffs the takedown attempt from Tripper. Tripper gets slowly back to his feet.

Tripper throws the left hand but Abrams avoids the punch easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Abrams blocks a low kick nicely.

Tripper throws out a leg kick but Abrams moves out of range and Tripper only half commits.
Abrams throws a jab when Tripper was well out of range.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Tripper.
James Abrams seems to be getting the better of the standup.
A nice leg kick lands there from Tripper.
Tripper throws a low kick but Abrams avoids it.
Tripper pushes Abrams away with a front kick.
Tripper feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Abrams's calf.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abrams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tripper to score with a decent uppercut.

Tripper throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Tripper pivots, looking for a leg kick but Abrams is out of range and Tripper settles back down.

Abrams throws a chopping leg kick but Tripper manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
James Abrams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Abrams is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tripper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Abrams swivels and escapes.
Tripper fakes the leg kick and cracks Abrams in the body.

and Abrams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tripper misses with some punches.

Tripper wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Abrams has him pressed against the cage.
Abrams misses with the head strike.
Tripper doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tripper swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tripper lands an uppercut.
Tripper stalling in the clinch.
Abrams is trying to break free.
Tripper has a couple of punches blocked by Abrams.
Tripper drops down looking for an ankle pick but Abrams pulls his leg out and moves away.

Abrams throws a hook to the side of Tripper's head but Tripper sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tripper walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Abrams checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Some bone on bone action there as Abrams checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Abrams counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Abrams throws a leg kick but Tripper sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Abrams steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tripper. That one must have hurt.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Tripper wants to slow Abrams down by chopping away at his legs.

Abrams tries to close the distance and clinch but Tripper swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Abrams has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Tripper.
Tripper throws a jab but it's blocked by Abrams.
Tripper throws a low kick, looking for Abrams's leg but Abrams calmly moves out of range.
Abrams throws a push kick but Tripper slaps the foot to one side.
Abrams displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tripper.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
