Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zygi Lofs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Deli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Zygi Lofs has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mauricio Deli!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lofs is defended easily by Deli.

and Deli counters with a single leg into guard. Lofs didn't expect that.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Deli lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Lofs shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Deli fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lofs avoids it really well and circles away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Deli trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mauricio Deli hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Deli closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lofs did well to prevent Deli getting side control.
Deli is looking to stall here but Lofs recovers full guard.

Mauricio Deli showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
