Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hacran Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dudley Moorer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dudley Moorer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moorer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Silva scores with a nice body kick.
Moorer throws a head kick that misses
and Silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Moorer's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moorer wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment.

Silva is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Moorer knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Moorer for a finish.

Silva seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Moorer's chin but Moorer turns very nicely into Silva's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Moorer.
Moorer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moorer's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moorer can do anything to dispel that myth.
Moorer is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hacran Silva will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Well Silva has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
