Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adelard Desormeaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suan Paredes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Desormeaux comes into the arena with C'est si bon blaring out of the sound system. Suan Paredes will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desormeaux lets loose with a powerful body kick. Paredes will feel that in the morning.
Desormeaux misses with a few strikes there.
Desormeaux throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Desormeaux tries for a takedown but Paredes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Paredes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Desormeaux to the mat! Desormeaux manages to get full guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

That was a close round but I would say that Adelard Desormeaux will probably get the nod.
