Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michael Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nakarima Hakata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradshaw comes to the cage accompanied by My way. Michael Bradshaw has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Bradshaw! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nakarima Hakata! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hakata ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bradshaw moves away. Bradshaw closes the distance and clinches. Nice elbow from Bradshaw.
It looks like Nakarima Hakata has been cut. A knee to the head by Bradshaw.
Hakata is working for takedown but Bradshaw is calmly controlling the position for now. Bradshaw landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Hakata has picked Bradshaw up - he's going for a ride! Hakata dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Hakata is looking to take a break and control but Bradshaw is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bradshaw is pressing down on Hakata's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Hakata tries to stand but Bradshaw is controlling from the bottom. Bradshaw wants to sweep here but Hakata controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hakata tries to free his leg and advance position but Bradshaw is retaining full guard. Bradshaw knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hakata on the ground. Bradshaw keeping moving, preventing Hakata from controlling successfully. Bradshaw is looking to stand up but Hakata isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. No luck for Hakata with that takedown attempt. Hakata circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bradshaw wants to clinch. Hakata keeps the fight on the outside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hakata tries for a takedown but Bradshaw sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Michael Bradshaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nakarima Hakata. Bradshaw fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hakata, pushing him back against the cage. Hakata takes an elbow to the temple. Hakata drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hakata takes an elbow to the forehead. A knee to the head by Bradshaw.
Nice elbow from Bradshaw. Bradshaw is breathing heavily. A head punch on the inside from Hakata fails to land. Hakata is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bradshaw pulls him back up using the underhooks. Bradshaw scores a nice knee to the body.

Bradshaw lands a nice elbow. Bradshaw connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hakata's face.
Hakata tries to pull guard but Bradshaw won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bradshaw misses with a knee to the head. Bradshaw avoiding damage as Hakata throws knees to the body.

Bradshaw really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hakata jumps guard but Bradshaw stands there with Hakata around his waist. Hakata gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bradshaw lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Hakata wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hakata content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hakata goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bradshaw prevents it.
Nice elbow from Bradshaw. Bradshaw misses with a knee strike.
Bradshaw is pressed up against the cage. Hakata has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bradshaw down to the mat. Bradshaw avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Bradshaw dodges the punch combination from Hakata.
Bradshaw instigates a clinch. Bradshaw lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Hakata is trying to stall.
Bradshaw lands an elbow inside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bradshaw gets underhooks to prevent Hakata's takedown attempt.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hakata just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bradshaw's brow. Hakata takes a knee right on the jaw!
Hakata is rocked! Hakata takes an elbow to the temple. Hakata is still on wobbly legs! Can Bradshaw finish him? Bradshaw creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Hakata! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Bradshaw.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Bradshaw! Michael Bradshaw is the new bantamweight champion!
