PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dane Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cook comes to the cage accompanied by Lifeless by 12 Stones. Parker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: why cant we be friends. Bruce Parker told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Parker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cook looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cook looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cook!

Cook lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cook.

A jab-cross combination lands for Cook and sends Parker crashing to the mat! Cook follows him down to the mat - Parker regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Cook shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Parker eats them both and turns towards Cook to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
