Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Craig Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ping Petunia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The High Road. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ping Petunia!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petunia fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Petunia dives in and grabs Anderson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Anderson pushes down on Petunia's head and hops out.

and Anderson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Petunia has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Anderson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Petunia.
