Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Crocodile Dundee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sterling Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dundee comes to the cage accompanied by Beethoven's 5th. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Crocodile Dundee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sterling Archer! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Archer fails to land the takedown. Archer scores with a one two! Dundee had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Archer tries to bum rush Dundee with a series of wild strikes but Dundee uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Archer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dundee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Archer scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Archer slaps away a takedown attempt from Dundee, before circling back to the center of the mat. Archer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dundee sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Dundee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dundee working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dundee stands up from guard. Let's bang! Archer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dundee is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dundee stands up and waves to Archer to follow him. Dundee fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dundee misses with a takedown and Archer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crocodile Dundee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dundee fails with the takedown. Dundee rushes Archer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Archer breaks from the clinch.
Archer misses with a takedown attempt and Dundee counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dundee is looking to take a break and control but Archer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Archer wants to get back to full guard. Dundee lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Dundee decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Dundee throws a hook but Archer blocks it. Dundee feints and as Archer raises his hands in defense, Dundee changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Archer wants to stand up but Dundee is controlling him. Dundee controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Archer keeping full guard, as Dundee tries to pass. Archer is working an open guard so Dundee takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Dundee shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Archer is trying to defend but Dundee finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Dundee thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Archer is refusing to be controlled, as Dundee sits in half guard. Dundee stands up from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Archer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Archer throws a one two combo.
Archer looks gassed! A nice combination there by Archer.
Dundee shoots in and drives through. Archer sprawls well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dundee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Archer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Horrible takedown by Dundee or perhaps it was just good defense by Archer which made him look bad. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dundee. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Archer has taken the fight to the clinch.
Archer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Crocodile Dundee dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dundee fails with a takedown attempt. Archer rushes Dundee and presses him up against the cage. Dundee looking to stall.
Dundee's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Dundee goes for a takedown in the clinch but Archer prevents it.
Dundee wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Crocodile Dundee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dundee prevents the takedown attempt.
Archer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Archer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dundee defends it nicely. Dundee takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Archer checks a low kick from Dundee. Dundee circles away from the clinch attempt.

Archer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dundee is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Archer's half guard. Dundee is looking to pass Archer's guard but actually Archer recovers to full guard. Dundee wants to control from the top but Archer keeps moving. Dundee lands a couple of digs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dundee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dundee throws a big right hand that misses. Dundee stands up from guard. Let's bang! The fight stays on the outside here - Archer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Archer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dundee's waist but Dundee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Archer off to one side. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Archer doesn't manage to clinch there - Dundee circles away.
Dundee tries to clinch but Archer moves out of range. Archer shoots in for a double leg but Dundee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Archer is breathing heavily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dundee is defended easily by Archer. Archer is looking to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dundee. Dundee misses with a takedown attempt and Archer counters with a three punch combo that has Dundee backing up. Dundee nods at Archer to acknowledge the strikes. Archer lands a leg kick that knocks Dundee off balance momentarily. Archer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dundee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dundee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Archer is refusing to be controlled, as Dundee sits in half guard. Archer is looking to escape. Archer wants to control the action here but instead Dundee manages to pass to full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Archer is trying desperately to improve position. A nice elbow there by Dundee. Dundee raining down hammerfists from mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dundee landing strikes from the mount and Archer is in trouble! Dundee with shots to the head and body - Archer looks very uncomfortable down there. Dundee breaks from Archer's wrist control and lands an elbow. Dundee pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Crocodile Dundee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dundee working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Archer looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Dundee! Submission of the night perhaps?
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Crocodile Dundee! Crocodile Dundee took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Maybe the dingo ate your baby!'.
