Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between New Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klayd Kol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klayd Kol will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, New Dalton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Klayd Kol! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kol shoots in for a takedown but Dalton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Dalton stuffs the takedown attempt from Kol. Kol gets slowly back to his feet. Kol slips a jab and a cross from Dalton.
Kol tries to clinch up but Dalton circles away and keeps his distance. Kol throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Dalton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kol moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kol ducks right into an uppercut from Dalton. Kol fails with a takedown attempt. New Dalton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Klayd Kol. Dalton misses with a two punch combination.
New Dalton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dalton throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dalton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kol. Dalton falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kol counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dalton swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kol counters with a left and a right that stings Dalton. Dalton clinches up against the ropes. Dalton landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Kol wants a takedown but no success here.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kol as Dalton tries to tie him up. Kol pushes off an throws an elbow but Dalton leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes. Kol jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dalton walks away with a smile on his face. Kol gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dalton keeps the fight on the outside. The fight moves into the clinch position. Dalton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kol shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dalton but Dalton pushes him off and we're back to square one. Dalton looks to land a combination. Kol sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Dalton throws a series of punches but Kol avoids them all with ease. Kol is looking to clinch. Kol closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dalton circles away. Dalton throws a right and a left that Kol avoids nicely. Dalton tries to bum rush Kol with a series of wild strikes but Kol uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kol fails with the takedown. Dalton tries to clinch but Kol is having none of it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dalton misses with a two punch combination.

and Kol counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Dalton misses with a double jab
and Kol counters by moving into the clinch. Kol tries to pull guard but Dalton won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dalton tries to clinch but Kol is having none of it. Kol gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dalton lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kol backwards. Dalton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kol pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Dalton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dalton wants it to stay on the feet. A punch combination from Dalton misses. Dalton stuffs the takedown attempt from Kol. Kol gets slowly back to his feet. Kol fails with a takedown attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dalton misses with a few strikes there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kol shoots in looking for a takedown but Dalton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kol's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
New Dalton dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kol drops his hands momentarily and Dalton takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kol shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dalton misses with a wild combination.

and Kol cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dalton looks to land a combination but Kol avoids it well. Dalton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kol moves into the clinch. Dalton can't get the takedown.

Dalton digs a right hand underneath Kol's ribcage. Kol let out a lung full of air as it connected. Kol pulls guard successfully.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kol looking for a guillotine here but Dalton defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dalton postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kol throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Dalton scoring with punches to the head and body. Dalton lands a couple of elbows. Dalton passes Kol's left leg - he's now in half guard. Kol has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dalton is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dalton thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kol's head. Kol is trying to control but can't.

Kol moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kol controls Dalton momentarily but Dalton frees himself. Kol looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dalton is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kol lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dalton! Kol tries to control but Dalton wriggling away. Kol goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dalton is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kol working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dalton. Dalton wants to stand and escape but instead Kol has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kol trying to control the position from guard on top but Dalton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kol stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dalton swivels though and keeps the full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kol has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dalton is proving hard to escape from. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that New Dalton will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Kol shoots in looking for a takedown. Dalton tries to sprawl out of it but Kol keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Dalton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dalton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kol. Dalton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kol throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dalton's waist but Dalton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kol off to one side. Dalton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Klayd Kol has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kol tries to score with a low kick but Dalton moves his leg out of the way. Kol looking to land some kicks to the body here.
And that's the end of the fight! New Dalton showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dalton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
