The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fender misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nimirov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fender misses with a hook.
Fender throws a head kick but Nimirov moves out of range.
Nimirov tries to clinch there but Fender circles away.
Nimirov wants to clinch up but Fender keeps it at a distance.
Fender lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Fender tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nimirov was well out of range. Poor timing from Fender.

Fender moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and Nimirov counters with a series of strikes. Fender will be more careful next time no doubt.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
