Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hulk keeps the fight on the outside.
Takeshi is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hulk's half guard.
Hulk is trying to get back to full guard.
Hulk avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Takeshi.
Takeshi wants to work for an arm triangle but Hulk is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Hulk is staying active underneath Takeshi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Hulk tries to roll over but Takeshi keeps him under control.

Takeshi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Takeshi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Takeshi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Takeshi landing strikes from the mount and Hulk is in trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
